Her expertise spans across K-5 literacy and math best practices, and she has a deep understanding of the intricacies of school operations. Throughout her career, she has taught first and fifth grades, mentored and coached K-5 teachers to enhance their instructional effectiveness, and served as a school administrator. Paulette’s dedication to educational excellence is reflected in her passion for empowering diverse learners to achieve their fullest potential.

Recognizing the critical role that families play in a child’s academic success, Paulette founded FamEd Consulting to provide specialized support for parents and families. Through interactive workshops and consulting services, she equips parents with the knowledge and tools needed to advocate effectively for their children’s education and foster meaningful partnerships with schools. Her approach emphasizes family engagement as a powerful lever in ensuring positive educational outcomes.

Paulette is also the author of Leverage Your Influence & Impact: Practical Information for Parents of School-age Children, a resource book that offers actionable strategies for parents. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, a Master of Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master of School Administration from Gardner-Webb University. In addition to her educational work, she is also a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker.
