Paulette is an education consultant and strategist who believes that strong partnerships between families, schools, and communities are essential for student success. As the founder and lead consultant of FamEd Consulting, she works alongside schools, early childhood programs, family-serving organizations, and parents to design practical solutions that make family engagement meaningful and sustainable.

With more than 27 years of experience in education, Paulette has led work as a teacher, instructional coach, and school administrator—roles that shaped her understanding of what it takes for children to thrive academically and socially. Today, she brings that experience to every collaboration, helping organizations and families build capacity, strengthen communication, and align efforts around shared goals for learning and growth.

Paulette is the author of Leverage Your Influence & Impact: Practical Information for Parents of School-age Children, a trusted resource that empowers families to take an active role in their child’s education. Her work is grounded in research-based and culturally responsive practices that foster trust, respect, and results.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, a Master of Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master of School Administration from Gardner-Webb University. Paulette is also a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker, reflecting her commitment to continuous growth and service to others.
